Laptop Ram Ddr3
Will using DDR3 ram with lower mhz than the one in the other slot harm my laptop? best asnwer?!?
Will it harm my hp pavilion dv6, having this combination in my hp dv6:
1x 2gb ram (1333mhz, came with this when bought laptop) AND 1x1gb ram (800mhz)
Or does the mhz speed not matter? by the way, it is working fine now and reading it as 3gb ram, but will i have problems in the future? thanks alot.
It will operate at the lower speed, but no harm will be done.
